I will be giving you access to sensitive information including my site(s) content, client lists, servers, etc. How can I be sure this information will be kept confidential?

How can I pay for your services?

My web host is also my web developer. I'm a bit anxious about leaving them because I know nothing about maintaining my web site or how it works. Can you help?

This is a very common scenario. Many of our clients in this situation call us when they experience service delays and/or downtime, and cannot get resolution from their current designer/host. WebSiteMovers.com will move your website and applications away from your old designer/host to a new hosting service provider, and can also become (we often do...) your new 'webmaster' at the same time. If you wish to continue to use us for ongoing web maintenance and/or support, or have us automate your site so you can perform many of the maintenance tasks yourself, we're happy to assist. In most cases we can save you money and deliver superior service.

My website is a heavily used e-commerce (or bulletin board, customer database, order processing, etc.) site - we simply cannot afford to be down for even 1 minute. Can you migrate it without ANY downtime?

WebSiteMovers.com guarantees no downtime during your critical-availability site migration. Your current hosting server will remain active and in full production during the migration process, with our only access involving a copy process for the databases and files. When data and files are 'pre-migrated', we will restore/reconfigure and begin our thorough testing process at the new server, while your current server continues to operate completely separate from the migrated services. When all testing and functional validation is complete at the new server, we'll sync your database(s) to prevent any data loss and switch DNS entries to make your services 'live' at the new server. In the extremely rare instance where even the slightest possibility of downtime during a migration is unavoidable, we will work with you beforehand to eliminate any adverse effect on your business and customers.
